Who operates Between Us

Information we handle
Depending on how you use the app, we handle account/authentication information, display name, couple membership, Moments/check-ins, private notes, moment responses, Our Space messages and read information, notifications, and Android device push tokens.
Relationship data
Relationship data is associated with a private couple space. Ending a relationship permanently removes the couple and its associated Moments, responses, private notes, notifications, and Our Space data for both people. Your account/profile remains so you can make a future connection.
Our Space
Our Space is a temporary conversation space. A Space window is available for 24 hours. Expired windows are hidden from normal app use; stored records may remain until related data is deleted through the app's deletion flows.
Notifications
Between Us can use in-app and Android push notifications for check-ins, responses, and Our Space messages. Android push delivery uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and a device push token. A notification already delivered to a device cannot be recalled.
Service providers and storage
Between Us uses Supabase for application data and authentication and Firebase Cloud Messaging for Android push delivery. Data is transmitted over secure connections. These providers process information as needed to provide their services.
What the app does not do
Based on the current implementation, Between Us does not use advertising, third-party analytics, location tracking, contact-book access, camera access, microphone access, or photo-library access as part of the service.
Account deletion
You can permanently delete your account from Profile → Delete account. This deletes the Between Us account and ends the current relationship, with shared Moments and Our Space data removed for both people. Your partner's separate account is not deleted. If you cannot access the app, contact msafrozz@gmail.com.
Retention
When deletion is performed, the live application records described above are deleted through the app's deletion flows. Copies may temporarily remain in provider backups, security logs, or operational records according to provider retention practices. We do not promise that every technical copy disappears instantly. Delivered device notifications cannot be remotely recalled.
Your choices and contact
You can update your display name, end your relationship, or permanently delete your account. For privacy requests, email msafrozz@gmail.com.
Children
Between Us is intended for adults and is not designed for children.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the product or its data practices materially change.
